August 8 - 3 months old

Trying to make up for the lack of pictures last month, I went a little overboard this month.
He has some of the funniest faces.  He is becoming so much more interactive this month and grabbing at everything.
Love him nekkid.
He loves hanging out with his dad and is completely mesmerized by his voice.  However, he is also completely startled by his sneezes and coughs, even if he is looking right at his dad when he does it.
Luke is my worst sympathy crier.  The smallest hint of a cry from another brother just sends him completely over the edge.
Don't let this cute smile fool you.  Luke hates being in the car.  He screams bloody murder from the moment we put him in, until we get him out.  And it's not the car seat.  He is fine in the car seat if its in the house or at church, it is actually being in the car that he hates.  So if we'll be in the car for a while, I have to sit next to him and make sure I have a bottle on hand and we can usually control the crying.
Jack loves this little guy, and always wants to give him hugs.  He has been surprisingly gentle, considering how aggressive he is with his older brothers.  There is just something about babies, most kids know instinctively to be softer.

Luke has also developed severe stranger anxiety.  We've left him a couple of times with relatives and neighbors and he just cries the whole time.  There is absolutely nothing that will get him to calm down.  Normally my kids go through this phase for a month or two around nine months old, but Luke is ahead of the curve.  Not fun.

And this is Luke is one of my very favorite outfits.  We got this at a baby shower and all 4 of my boys have worn it.  I love it, and was so sad when he outgrew it and I had to put it away, knowing none of my kids would ever wear it again.  (sniff, sniff)
