Stage 1: Denial "I'm fine." "JJ will start sleeping soon and then I'll be able to get more sleep."
Stage 2: Anger "Why does he have to get up this early." "Why did I get a morning baby."
Stage 3: Bargaining "I would give anything for one Saturday to sleep in 'til 10."
Stage 4: Depression "This is never going to get better, is it." "Sigh"
Stage 5: Acceptance "It will get better eventually, this is just part of the journey right now." "I like those quiet moments in the morning when it's just us hanging out in the chair."
I'm sure there will come days when I'll revert back to one of the earlier stages, but for now, it's nice to see the sunrise.

Go you! What a a great attitude!
I'm stuck in Stage 4.5 - I know it will get better eventually, it is part of the journey, but I wish I wasn't traveling it alone every single day. :-)
Yeah, I'm not sure that I'd every really be able to accept being sleep-deprived. I'm way too selfish, and I love sleeping!
Wow Jenn what a great attitude. I am definitely not that good about it. Though I actually can sleep in until 8 sometimes now. Though once Jr high start that will only happen on Sat. My older kids watch TV with the younger ones in the morning. They love PBS kids and so do I.
By the way Ryan is very cute congrats:)
You're awesome! I'm pretty sure I would be stuck in the anger stage...
