Yet another post about funky Utah weather

For all my AZ friends and family who hit 100 this weekend, this is what we woke up to yesterday. It snowed most of the morning, registering about 3 inches. It broke a record for the latest snowfall of the year. And on top of that, it's supposed to be almost 70 today. It killed all my Gerbera daisies and broke off a lot of branches and we'll see what kind of damage it did to our raspberries and strawberries (hopefully not to much). Sending cool thoughts your way.:)

Yesterday we broke the record for heat here. It was super sunny, super hot and really really humid with almost no wind. We ran the AC all day and night and spent the afternoon in various stages of undress sitting under the ceiling fans. Today, also hot and sunny and humid, I'm taking a more aggressive approach: we're heading out to play in the sprinkler.

(PS, your bad weather may be my fault...I packed up the snow gear yesterday. Sorry about that...)
